I have this on my DCR-HC30 camcorder...it really opens up the viewing angle and looks more natural to my eye than the stock lens by itself. One interesting thing I noticed is that detail and clarity actually seem better...He added Nice "POP" in the image, and, as another reviewer I did not want to take it off (!).
